Mission Update

Yeah I saw my mission president and told me that he saw my brother. He said your chances of getting transfered to Baytown is very unlikely but it is still possible. Transfers are two weeks from tomorrow. I am most likely going to get transfered, and I am probably going to train. there are seven elders and four sisters coming out next transfer. then a lot more coming out the next two transfers after that. we teach the lessons together.

Three of our investigators came to church yesterday and one of them was so nervice that she was shaking but at the end she stopped and she actually loved it and wants to come next week and also our other two investigators also loved it. yesterday we set a baptismal date with one of them and her name is jasmine Logan she has three little kids. her date is the 14th of July. we are working with her to stop smoking and drinking. she is very excited.

The work with the less actives and members is going very well. One of our members comes out with us from 2:00 to 9:00 he loves it. we are working with a less active part member family trying to get them all to church and taught. We are also working with some other less actives but have not seen any progress.

Hurricane of Missionary Work

Well we have been teaching alot this past week we taught 27 lessons yeah we have been really busy but we have like five new investergators that we have been teaching. One of the is muslim and he is really interested. Are mission president have asked us that we memorize the joseph smith story. starting from " In the midst of this war of words and tumult of opinions" all the way to the first vision and excluding the satan part. It took me awhile but I have it down. I cited it to a investigator that we have and it was really good.

Yeah this week we are going to kingwood for two an half days. The mission president calls to elders to be trainers and they train missionaries to be better teachers, planners, and everything like that. I will tell you more about it next week. then right after that we have a baptism with a investigator that we have been teaching for a month and a half. She is really excited.

Oh yeah today we have a zone p-day and we are watching the best two years man it is going to be so funny to watch especially when I am a missionary right know because I can apply it very well. That will be a lot of fun. Besides that it is getting really hot and humid everything is going really great. Hurricane season just started and if there is one we will evacuate two weeks in advance and the whole mission will go to Dallas until everything calms down. Then come back and do a lot of service work. Love you all,

Multi-mission conference!

I love my new companion he is so awesome he is a really good hard worker and we have been working so hard the past few weeks that we have been exhausted. the weather has been in the 90's but it will get even hotter in the next month or two. No we do not have a car but we have a member that takes us out from two a clock to nine a clock and he loves it. we bike some but not that much and when you bike you sweat like crazy. the tri-mission conference was awesome Elder Johnson talked about alot of good things. I also saw a few people that went to school with me. Elder David Shaws and I forgot the other one. they are in the other houston missions. Elder Johnson created a new stake. it is called the summerwood stake and our mission will be covering it. Oh yeah we will have nine new english elders that are coming in the next transfer and then 11 new english elders coming in the next one after that because we are down 16 elders short of what we are supposed to be. so I will be most likely going to be training this next transfer or the next after that.

Yeah we are working with a few new investigators that we have found the past week. we will see how solid all of them are. But we have a baptism for tori on the 16th. which is really exciting.
